Webinar posted: "Sewing the Seeds of Activism in an Age of COVID: The Auntie Sewing Squad"
I recently had the pleasure of speaking on a panel at Pennsylvania State University about the Auntie Sewing Squad, the mutual aid organization I've been working with since the spring to sew face masks for vulnerable, BIPOC communities. The webinar recording is now available. Performance artist Kristina Wong, who founded the Auntie Sewing Squad, and Dr. Grace J. Yoo, a public health professor and fellow Auntie, joined me on the panel, which was moderated by Dr. Tina Chen of Penn State. Thank you to the Center for American Literary Studies for supporting our work and offering this platform.
